Taking cyber security seriously

Recently, there has been a great deal in the media about high profile businesses who have been victims of cyber attacks with far-reaching fallout affecting both suppliers and customers.

But smaller businesses should not be complacent about security risks. The Government's Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2025 found that more than four in ten businesses (43%) and three in ten charities (30%) reported a cyber security breach or attack of some kinds in a 12 month period*.

At Charles Design we take cyber security seriously to ensure the safety of not only our own day to day operations, but that of our many clients across a wide range of industries.

That's why we're continually improving our systems both internally and at server level to add extra layers of protection and we're working with a leading risk and insurance specialist to help identify and address any areas of vulnerability.

As part of this process we have undertaken a cyber risk assessment which covers everything from privacy controls and data security to risks from malware, spam and other malicious events. The initial report flagged largely non-critical security findings but we have been able to address those issues too and we now have a cyber health rating of 92/100.

We'll continue to monitor our practices and security measures to help keep our services safe and efficient whilst providing the highest levels of security and service reliability for every client.
