    Established by Dave Homer as a single high street restaurant in 1984, Mister Dave’s has become a household name across the West Midlands and beyond. Now as part of The Original Curry Company portfolio it was decided that it was time for a re-launch.

    As purveyors of high quality ready meals to the retail market, our client wanted the magic ingredients of a fresh contemporary new look combined with a strong sense of continuity for their many loyal customers. The vital message was "new look, same great taste".

    A subtle change to the logo ensures that the brand is still easily recognisable but with a more modern flavour and is easy to adapt to a wide range of applications.

    For the packaging, we developed a fresher, more contemporary colour palette and a format which clearly showcases each dish in the range. With any food packaging, the challenge is always to accommodate a large amount of required information such as ingredients, cooking instructions, and allergy advice while still giving ample space to the product and making each recipe distinctive and easy to identify in the freezer.

    So next time you go to your local shop, look out for the new Mister Dave’s curry range - a treat for the eyes and the taste-buds!
